Terms & Conditions

In addition to abiding by the Rules & Regulations of the society, when you sign-up to a BUNGS event, you do so under the following terms and conditions:

At all BUNGS Days

It is the resposibility of each BUNGS member to check the rules (regarding dress, use of mobile phones etc) on each club's website and adhere to them.

BUNGS members should also check each club's local rules where available prior to play.

At every BUNGS event, those society members that are members of a golf club, should play of the lower of either their society or club CONGU handicap.

Regular Golf Days

No place will be guaranteed at a golf day until payment has been received in full.

Anyone cancelling their place at a golf day less than one week prior to the event will lose £10 or any charge made by the club, whichever is the greater*.

Summer Tour

No place will be guaranteed until a £60 deposit has been received.

Anyone cancelling their place more than three months prior to the tour will lose £10 of their deposit or any monies charged by the golf clubs/hotel, whichever is the greater*. Anyone cancelling their place within three months of the tour date will lose their entire deposit or any monies charged by the golf clubs/hotel, whichever is the greater*.

Anyone cancelling their tour place will lose any entitlement to a place on the following year's tour and will have to accept 'final refusal category'

Allocation of places

The allocation of places for the summer tour will be as follows:

FIRST REFUSAL
Those who attended the current season's tour but must have attended a minimum of FOUR additional BUNGS events since the previous season's tour.

SECOND REFUSAL
Those who did not attend the current season's tour but have been to at least FOUR events since the previous season's tour

THIRD REFUSAL
Those who attended the current season's tour but did not attend FOUR regular BUNGS events since the previous season's tour

FINALLY
Anyone else wanting to attend, including anyone having cancelled their tour place in the previous 12 months.

November Trip

No place will be guaranteed until a £50 deposit has been received.

Anyone cancelling their place more than three months prior to the trip will lose £10 of their deposit or any monies charged by the golf clubs/hotel, whichever is the greater*. Anyone cancelling their place within three months of the trip date will lose their entire deposit or any monies charged by the golf clubs/hotel, whichever is the greater*.

* Deposits may be refunded if a place is being cancelled due to exceptional circumstances, to be agreed by the committee
